Taco Salad in a Jar


Gather ingredients and layer dividing ingredients evenly between 5 quart jars in the following order:

  • 1 can black beans (rinsed and drained) 
  • 1-1.5 cup frozen or canned white corn (if canned, rinse and drain)
  • 1.25 lb ground beef (cooked and seasoned with salt, pepper and a hint of taco seasoning, then cooled to room temp or cooler)
  • 3 hearts of Romaine (torn into bite size pieces)
  • 15-20 grape of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, colby jack or mexican blend)
  • 4 chopped green onions 

Place dressings in 2oz cups with lids and place in top of jar:

2 oz Favorite salsa
2 oz Ranch Dressing

Makes 5 quart jar size salads.  When ready to eat dump in bowl add dressings and enjoy!
